MESSAGING POLICY – THATSAPI(Messaging Solutions) Last Updated: 17/12/2025 This Messaging Policy defines the rules and standards for sending messages through thatsapi.com (“Company”, “We”, “Us”, “Our”) using the WhatsApp Business API and related features. By using our platform, you (“User”) agree to follow this Policy, Meta’s guidelines, and applicable Indian laws. --------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. PURPOSE OF THIS POLICY • To ensure safe, lawful, and ethical messaging activities • To maintain compliance with Meta WhatsApp Business API policies • To protect customers from spam, fraud, and unwanted communication • To provide a clear framework for responsible messaging • To avoid account suspension, API restrictions, and legal issues --------------------------------------------------------------------- 2. High-Risk Categories • MLM, pyramid schemes • Adult content or explicit media • Political or religious propaganda • Hate speech, violence, discrimination • Threats or harassment C. Spam and Unsolicited Messaging • Bulk messaging to non-opt-in contacts • Purchased or scraped database messaging • Excessive messages that trigger complaints D. Misleading or Deceptive Content • False claims • Misrepresentation of brand or identity • Unverified medical or legal advice • Fake urgency or deceptive FOMO tactics Any violation can result in immediate suspension or permanent ban. --------------------------------------------------------------------- 5. TEMPLATE MESSAGE COMPLIANCE Users must follow Meta Template Rules: • Only approved templates may be used for outbound messages • Templates must reflect accurate, honest content • No bait-and-switch or content manipulation • Templates must match the language and category submitted • Promotional templates require explicit opt-in Improper use of templates may lead to Meta restrictions. --------------------------------------------------------------------- 6. QUALITY RATING REQUIREMENTS Users must ensure: • Low complaint rate • High engagement • Relevant, helpful message content • Proper template usage • Respectful communication tone Meta may downgrade quality if: • Too many customers block the number • Too many template rejections occur • Messages are irrelevant, spammy, or misleading THATSAPI is not responsible for quality score drops caused by user messaging practices. --------------------------------------------------------------------- 8. SENSITIVE INFORMATION RESTRICTIONS Users must NOT collect or send sensitive data via WhatsApp, including: • Aadhaar numbers • PAN details • Bank account or card numbers • Passwords or OTP screenshots • Medical data • Personal identification documents WhatsApp is not a secure medium for sensitive data exchange. --------------------------------------------------------------------- 9. LIABILITY LIMITATION THATSAPI is not responsible for: • Message delivery failures • User-created content • WhatsApp number bans • Meta restrictions or suspensions • Loss of business, revenue, or data • Legal consequences of unlawful user messaging All responsibility lies solely with the user. --------------------------------------------------------------------- 13.
