This Template Usage Policy governs how users (“You”, “Your”, “User”) create, submit, store, and use WhatsApp Business API message templates (“Templates”) through THATSAPI (“Company”, “We”, “Us”, “Our”).
By using THATSAPI’s template features, you agree to comply with this Policy, Meta’s WhatsApp Template Guidelines, and applicable Indian laws.

1. PURPOSE OF THIS POLICY
• To ensure all templates meet Meta’s standards
• To maintain a safe and compliant messaging environment
• To prevent misuse, misleading communication, and policy violations
• To protect user and customer trust
• To avoid template rejections, account flags, or WhatsApp number suspensions

2. TYPES OF TEMPLATES ALLOWED
Meta allows templates in specific categories, including:
• Utility templates (order updates, reminders, OTP, alerts)
• Authentication templates (verification codes, login alerts)

• Issue resolution or support messages
• Appointment booking, reminders, or confirmation messages

C. Misleading or Deceptive Messaging

D. Unapproved Content Modifications

Any violation may result in immediate account or template suspension.

4. TEMPLATE CREATION GUIDELINES
Users must follow these requirements when creating templates:
• Content must be clear, professional, and accurate
• Content must match the selected category
• Templates must be written in supported languages
• Placeholders (“{{1}}”) must be used only for variable data
• No promotional content in utility templates
• No misleading or vague statements
• No content that violates Meta or Indian regulations

5. TEMPLATE APPROVAL PROCESS

• Template approval may take from a few minutes to up to 24–48 hours.
